Es handelt sich um einen Bird strike (Vogelschlag) beim Start einer ThomsonFly-Maschine am Manchester Ringway International Airport. Ein Flugzeugfilmer hat wohl durch Zufall das ganze Szenario aufgenommen. Vom eigentlichen Vogel, über das feurige Triebwerk, bishin zur Notlandung. Original Sprechfunkverkehr inklusive. Fand es sehr interessant, dass man sowas auch mal in voller Länge miterleben kann!
